Brazilian Ministry of Culture created culturi®, a free collaborative application where users can publish and share media content related to events, local landmarks and other cultural demonstrations from all over the country. The application allows its users to follow the coverage of events in Brazil and to contribute with it by sending photos and videos, which will record different Brazilian cultural experiences. Additionally, users may keep up with the schedule of the ongoing cultural activities shared by official producers and artists.
The culturi® displays the full itinerary of the Olympic torch through Brazilian cities and displays what is happening in real time. Users will accumulate points by using culturi®, which will be used for accessing official events of the Olympic Games Rio 2016.
